Our latest supporters on ‘A Night at the Pictures’ are the stars over at the Soho Theatre.

I know you may think the Soho Theatre is a long way from Wood Street...

...But they have a very exciting plan for the old Granada cinema on Hoe Street. They are working with Waltham Forest Cinema Trust and the London Borough of Waltham Forest council to re-open the former Granada cinema on Hoe Street (in the photo), in the centre of Walthamstow, as a live comedy, theatre and entertainment venue. The initial scheme will bring the Grade II* listed 1,000 seat auditorium back into use, followed by three state-of-the-art digital cinema screens, an education space and a restaurant and bar.

You will not have to wait that long for entertainment in the borough though as they are supporting us with A Night at the Pictures at the old Crown Cinema in the Wood Street indoor market.
