We’ve been working in Walthamstow for a while now and after royally sticking our oar in, we’ve uncovered a tale or two!

 

From the first british flight, to motorised cars, wallpaper, ice cream and toilet paper, Walthamstow has been the home for many amazing firsts!

 

And we are determined to celebrate this with you!

 

But it's not all about what's been and gone. Everyone has a first story to tell and we want to hear it! From first kisses, comedy moments and spectacular fails, we're building up a catalogue of home grown Walthamstow Firsts. So join in and be the first!
